Women's Hockey Operations and Video Coordinator-Graduate Assistantship

1 position/20 hours a week, full time
Assist in all areas of team logistics which include but not limited to hotel, transportation, team itineraries, team meals, communication with opposing team''s support staff and other daily operations.
Assist in managing budgets within allocated parameters, complete administrative transactions in a timely manner, and engage in departmental communication with various staff to support program and student-athletes.
Responsible for all team and individual game video: in game logging, software and hardware maintenance, opposition pre-scout video, team and individual video set up, and dissemination to league and opponents.
Assist in public relations and social networking platforms
Other duties as assigned by head coach, assistant coaches, or Director of Athletics/designee

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Acceptance into a graduate study program at St. Cloud State University
Understanding of Ice hockey rules
Proficient in technology and social networking applications (documents, video software, etc.)
Highly organized and notable time management attributes
Ability to work and travel on weekends during academic year
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in collegiate athletics either playing or assisting with operations
Knowledge of game video capturing and editing
Playing experience in Ice hockey at minimum high school level
Possess and enthusiasm for working with student-athletes, a solid work ethic and strong interest in furthering experience in athletically related field
Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, Conference, Institutional policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in organizing, marketing and promoting various team events

Hands on learning of all aspects associated with day to day operations of a Division 1 collegiate athletic program
Valuable networking amongst Division 1 ice hockey programs and organizations
Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance
