GRADUATE ASSISTANT - POSITION AVAILABLE

Hours

 

10/week during the academic year

 

Salary

 

Stipend of $5,280 plus 6 credits graduate tuition remission per semester

 

Responsibilities

 

1 position at 10 hours/week, on-campus

 

• Develop, implement, and evaluate promotion of University Library resources and services 

• Coordinate outreach for events 

• Deliver on-campus library resource and service outreach (which may include tabling, social media, newsletters, classroom presentations, university-wide event planning, etc.)  Some nights/evenings may be required 

• Support and coordinate with graphic designer

• Attend regularly scheduled meetings

• Other duties as assigned to support successful promotion of University Library resources and services to the SCSU community

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

• Current, full-time enrollment in a Master’s graduate program

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation 

• Public speaking experience

• Dependability

• Ability to work with a variety of different team members

• Customer service skills
