20 hour graduate assistantship in new Center for Policy Research and Community Engagement. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at St. Cloud State University.

This position offers graduate students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in applied policy research focused on a regional economy. By the end of the appointment, successful graduate assistants will be able to:

  • demonstrate a strong understanding of research methodologies used in policy analysis, including data collection, preparation, analysis and interpretation;
  • identify and critically evaluate existing policy research on issues impacting central Minnesota;
  • develop strong research communication skills, including clear and concise writing, and effective presentation skills;
  • develop strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
